About me My family comes from Mexico and Puerto Rico. I have been living in Chicago all my life, born and raised, never went anywhere else. My family is pretty large, I am the oldest out of four kids. I am really close to my parents and siblings, we do everything together. I been attending this school since I was a Freshman and I love it. I really enjoy the way the school is set up and how the environment is. The community as a whole is amazing and I am so grateful that I am able to be attending here. I grew so much since Freshman year and I also changed for the better. I found myself and GCE helped me with that. I'm a Senior now, and I'm loving it so far. I've change a lot throughout the 3 years I been at GCE, this experience has been very memorable and I can't wait to graduate and start college.
Why I chose GCEI chose GCE to know the world more. I came to learn more about myself. I choose to come to GCE to get out of my comfort zone that I have made since Elementary school. I want to meet new people and explore Chicago myself. I think GCE will teach me more than I have ever learned. I feel like since its such a small school I will not get judged. I can just be my self. I really think I will be very successful in life from coming to GCE.
